Members

Members of the ECI comprise various institutes, clinics, and departments of the Medical Faculty (Institute for Microbiology, Institute for Virology,   Departments of Internal Medicine 1 and 3 at the University Hospital Erlangen,  Department of Dermatology, Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Division of Molecular and Experimental Surgery, Department of Infection Biology, and the Department of Immune Modulation), together with the Department of Biology (Chairs of  Biochemistry, of Biotechnology, of Genetics, and of Microbiology) and the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy (Chairs for Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, for Bioinorganic Chemistry, for Food Chemistry, and for Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from the Natural Sciences Faculty. From the Faculty of Engineering, the Chair of Bioprocess Engineering is among the ECI members.
